                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
                   EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH ROBERT JOHNSON FOR
                   CONSULTING SERVICES RELATIVE TO
                   TELECOMMUNICATIONS IN CITY BUILDINGS AT A
                   RATE OF TWO HUNDRED FIFTY AND NO/100 DOLLARS
                   ($250.00) PER MONTH FOR A MINIMUM OF TEN
                   (10) HOURS AND ADDITIONAL HOURS TO BE BILLED
                   AT TWENTY FIVE AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($25.00)
                   PER HOUR WITH MILEAGE EXPENSES PAID AT
                   TWENTY-SIX CENTS PER MILE.
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the Mayor be and is hereby 
authorized
       to execute a Contract with Robert Johnson, Consultant, relative 
to
       telephone purchases, use of telephone systems and equipment,
       installation needs, cost estimates and other consulting services
       affecting telecommunications in city buildings at a rate of
       $250.00 per month for a minimum of 10 hours and additional hours
       to be billed at $25.00 per hour with mileage to be paid at 26
       cents per mile, with prior approval of additional hours and other 

       work-related expenses.
